Aileen O Brien leads a team of well-connected communications professionals, ensuring the agency’s longstanding position as a trusted industry leader in media relations and creative event management.

Aileen is the Founder and Managing Director of O’Brien PR and takes an active role in the day to day running of her business. Meeting and liaising with clients to ensure campaigns and strategies are delivered.

Aileen studied European Studies (Law, Politics, German and Spanish) at the University of Limerick before going on to study PR. She is a full member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, holds a Diploma from the Irish Academy of Public Relations and is a former lecturer for the Academy. She has worked as a consultant for various individuals, private companies, and state bodies for many years.

Aileen is a current Fáilte Ireland Business Mentor and sits on the expert panel which provides PR and marketing training for tourism and hospitality suppliers. She is an excellent communicator, a creative and strategic thinker and has built a strong network of media contacts and influencers over the years.

Aileen established O’ Brien PR in 2003 and has over 20 years’ experience working with the Irish and International Media. Throughout her career Aileen has worked with many multinationals, hotels, festivals and events as well as companies such as Newbridge Silverware, The Irish Film Festival and Dubai Duty Free and Lyrath Hotel & Spa directing many events and delivering communication strategies. Aileen is passionate about PR and communications and has established O’ Brien PR as one of the leading PR and Communications agencies in Ireland.
A member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland O’ Brien PR, previous experience has shaped Aileen’s expertise, and she has experienced first-hand, what it takes to develop and strengthen relationships with clients.
