Into Kildare and Newbridge Silverware Host Members Event to Showcase Kildare’s Premier Tourism Offerings

Into Kildare, the official tourism body for County Kildare, recently welcomed (2nd July) 40 members to a collaborative event and lunch held at Newbridge Silverware. The event highlighted the attractions and accommodations that Kildare has to offer visitors to the county, while also providing a platform to introduce new members such as Palmerstown House Estate and the Heritage.

Newbridge Silverware, a beacon of Irish craftsmanship and celebrating its 90th anniversary, was the perfect venue for this showcase. The event allowed attendees to explore Newbridge Silverware’s expansive visitor experiences including their iconic Factory Tour, the celebrated Museum of Style Icons, their delightful afternoon tea offering as well as a variety of gifting options for both corporate and individuals. The guests also got the opportunity to see the new film costume exhibition which is in association with the Irish Costume Archive Project and running for the next year at the Museum of Style Icons. The free to enter exhibiton features costumes which featured in many famous Irish films including the Banshees of Inisherin, In the Name of the Father and Michael Collins among many others.

Into Kildare also promoted their series of exciting upcoming events which promise to draw significant attention to the county. Key among these is the Taste of Kildare Festival, which will run from the 20-22nd September at Naas Racecourse. This event will bring together the finest in local culinary talent and produce, offering a feast for the senses and celebrating Kildare’s vibrant food culture.

Other major events happening in the County in the coming months is the Rose of Tralee Tour and the Women’s Irish Open at Carton House, from 29th August to 1st September. These events are set to elevate Kildare’s status as a premier destination for cultural and sporting activities.

Members also welcomed new member, Palmerstown House Estate. This stunning property boasts an historic period residence, a versatile clubhouse, an award-winning 18-hole championship golf course, and a walled garden with natural amphitheatre acoustic qualities, all set on 900 acres in Kildare and within easy reach of Dublin city centre. Palmerstown House Estate represents the luxury and diversity that Kildare’s tourism sector has to offer.

Another luxury hotel which joins as a member of into Kildare is The Heritage. Located on the Kildare, Laois boarder in the village of Killenard, the world class hotel features a luxury spa, several dining outlets and Ireland’s only Seve Ballesteros designed championship golf course.  The Heritage Spa promises perfect tranquillity in an oasis of wellness with a range of rejuvenating and stress-relieving ESPA treatments to choose from and an expansive Spa Experience with a newly opened Salt Cave and Rustic Sauna Cabin as well as a variety of heated and cooling experiences.
